Tuesday 17th March 2020 COVID-19 Update Dear Parent/Carer, Following further guidance given during yesterday’s Government briefing, I wanted to share with you some further updates regarding COVID-19. Again, I would like to reassure you that governors and school leaders are following guidance from Public Health England and the Government. We are remaining open, as advised by the Government. However, below are the key changes to advice:  If 1 person in any household starts to display symptoms, everyone living there MUST stay home and self-isolate for 14 days and avoid leaving the house.  Symptoms:  If someone has developed a new continuous cough,  or a high temperature (above 37.5 degrees) and you feel hot to touch on your chest or back  If you require guidance/advice call the Department for Education helpline on 0800 046 8687 or 111.  Ensure you contact school to inform us you are self-isolating. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-stay-at-home-guidance/stay-at-home-guidance-forhouseholds-with-possible-coronavirus-covid-19-infection Again, can you please ensure we have the most up to date contact information which includes telephone and email addresses. In addition, Tuesday’s and Thursday’s Parent Consultations have now been postponed. New dates will be shared with you at a later date. Please ensure you maintain hand hygiene at home in line with guidance from PHE and NHS.
