OUR SCHOOL
Covid UpdatesThis page is designed to keep parents and carers up to date with the ever changing situation around the Covid-19 pandaemic that caused the partial closure of schools in March 2020 and again from January 2021. On this page you will find up to date information from the Government Guidelines, links to useful websites and any news items that we have sent out from Buckland Primary School.
We are pleased that on our return to school in September 2022 we have been able to lift all of the restrictions across the school; children are no longer being kept in bubbles and they are able to enjoy break times and lunch times together. All the restrictions and guidelines are under constant review by the Government, Local Authority and the school itself and will amended should the need arise again as we head into the Winter months.
The current guidelines now state that if a child tests positive for Covid-19 they should remain at home for 3 days following their positive test. There is no expectation of home learning to be provided by the school or undertaken by the parents in these 3 days. If your child is still unwell following the 3 days then please keep them home until fully recovered and able to return to school
Up to date information and Government Guidelines are still available by clicking on the link.
