Term DatesSchool Term dates are published 2 years in advance by Surrey County Council and can be accessed here:
Buckland Primary School will have 5 inset days during the Academic year. These will be set by the Headteacher and parents will be informed via Newsletters and updates.
The inset days for this academic year (September 2019 – July 2020) are as follows:
Inset Day 1 – Wednesday 4th September 2019
Inset Day 2 – Monday 4th November 2019
Inset Day 3 – Monday 6th January 2020
Inset Day 4 – Friday 14th February 2020
Inset Day 5 – Monday 1st June 2020
In addition to INSET days, the school is often used as a polling station when Local, Government or Police Commissioner elections are called. School will be closed to pupils on polling days.
Polling Days – the school is no longer used as a polling station so will be open as usual on all polling days
Please note the 1st Bank holiday in May has been moved to Friday 8th May 2020
Please note that at the end of each full term (20th December 2019, 3rd April 2020 and 22nd July 2020) school will finish early and parents will need to collect their children at 1.15pm.
