Anti Bullying and E-Safety

Anti Bullying

On 3rd November 2016 our school was inspected and assessed for the Anti Bullying Charter Mark.  The process was rigorous and included a variety of groups representing our school community.  We are extremely proud and delighted to announce that following this assessment, Buckland Primary School has been awarded the Silver Anti Bullying Charter Mark award.

First time applicants of this charter mark are typically aiming for a Bronze award, so we are particularly pleased to have surpassed this to attain silver.  The process has confirmed the many strengths we have with regards to the school’s provision for anti bullying.  The inspection team were extremely impressed with our school ethos and the approach the school has in relation to our use of restorative approach when dealing with bullying, friendship and relationship issues.

E-Safety

Children are taught to use technology safely and respectfully.  They learn what personal information is and how to keep it private.  They also identify where to go for help and support if they have any concerns and they are also taught how to behave online.  Full details can be found in our E-Safety policy below

All children in Years 1 – 6 are asked to read through an E-safety agreement with their parents and the children are asked to sign to say they understand.  Please click on the buttons below to view these agreements.
